URGENT NEWS

4th January 2021

Dear Parents/Carers,

RE: Important Update

Having reviewed our risk assessments and our staff capacity/availability we have regrettably had to take the difficult decision to close the following classes for the next two weeks: Class 2, Class 3, 7DH, 8H, 9HC and 10B.

From those classes we will be inviting the most vulnerable pupils (those with an identified social worker) and those of keyworkers back to school on Wednesday 6th January. If your child is in one of the above classes and you consider yourself as a keyworker or your circumstances have changed in regard to this, please email or send a SeeSaw message to your child’s class teacher or leave a phone message on the school office number by 12.00 midday tomorrow (5th January).

All other classes are currently unaffected and will still open as planned on Wednesday 6th January.

We have also taken the decision to ask all staff and pupils in Y7 and above to wear face coverings when moving around in communal areas of the school. Please let us know if your child is unable to or is exempt from wearing a face covering.

Thank you for your understanding and support at this difficult time and we will keep you updated should there be further developments.

Very best wishes,

Sue
