It is important to let you know that we have a suspected case of COVID 19 at Culverhill School. We have followed all guidance and procedures  for schools and public health England health protection team have told us that we must close down the key stage three bubble (year 7, 8 and 9) tomorrow. We will keep you informed to let you know arrangements for Wednesday and beyond.  We have contacted transport, but If your child’s transport arrives in the morning, South Glos transport has advised us that you should either wave them on or socially distant tell them that your child will not be attending school due to a bubble closure.

Please inform us if your develops any symptoms. Your child should only get a test if your child has the following symptoms:

  • a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
  • a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
