Message to pupils.....

Message to pupils from Miss Hewitt

To all our wonderful pupils at Culverhill School,

I just wanted to say ‘hello’ before the Easter holidays and to say a huge ‘thank you’ to you all for the great work you have been doing at home whilst the school has been closed. Your teachers have been keeping me up to date with the activities you have been doing and I have been very impressed with the great work you have done. You are very creative and hard-working and you are managing this very strange situation so well. I am very proud of you all!

During the Easter holidays I want you to relax, play, exercise and help your parents/carers around the house as much as you can – things like keeping your bedroom tidy, washing up, a bit of housework or gardening. Believe it or not, your parents and carers have been working hard at home too and it is important that you do your bit and help them out as much as you can over the next two weeks. Relaxation, play and exercise are very important because they keep your mind and your body fit and healthy!

All of the staff are working very hard putting plans in place to make sure the school will be ready to open when the Prime Minister tells us it is safe to do so. I’m afraid at the moment we don’t really know when that will be and the most important thing is that the school is 100% safe and ready so that you can be safe when you return. The school will be updating your parents/carers as and when we have more information.

Happy Easter everyone and please keep following the instructions and rules from the government on how to keep safe and well.

Take good care of yourselves and your families.

My very best wishes for now,

Miss Hewitt
