Volunteers Help Revamp School Allotment!

Culverhill's allotment has had a revamp thanks to volunteers from the National Citizen Service programme!

A group of volunteers from Yate has helped us to revamp our allotment area. The young people, from the National Citizen Service programme, built some raised beds, cut back brambles and willows, as well as washing out plant pots ready for recycling.

Mrs Cook, who leads the Horticulture lessons at Culverhill, had this to say about the work the volunteers carried out: "The volunteers had the most fantastic experience, helping out those less fortunate in their community."

Many thanks to all the volunteers who gave up their time to improve our allotment!
