Culverhill and Multilingual students
Hello and welcome to the English as an Additional Language page.
Culverhill School has been involved with developing and supporting Bilingual children and families, we are optimising outcomes for bilingual learners whilst collaborating with the University of the West of England research project, Researching Multilingually at the Borders of language, the Body, law and the state.

The work that has been undertaken as part of this project has been integrated within Culverhill School. We have taken on board Solihull Metropolitan borough Councils English as an Additional Language Tracker which we have been able to adapt the Schools targets to incorporate the EAL learner (DFE Proficiency levels)
Here at Culverhill we are proud to celebrate, the languages of are students and their families we are working to ensure all the students at Culverhill are prepared for an ever changing community around Yate and the wider world, preparing Students for a multicultural society outside the community of Culverhill, to be confident and independent and learners for life.
